Juventus Announces Contract Extension for Captain Manuel Locatelli Until Summer 2030
Italian club Juventus has officially announced the extension of its contract with captain Manuel Locatelli, ensuring the player remains with the team until June 30, 2030.
The new agreement will see the player's annual salary increase to approximately €4 million, in addition to performance-related bonuses. This new deal replaces the previous agreement, which was set to expire in 2028 and paid €3 million annually before this latest adjustment.
Over the past years, this move reflects Locatelli's central position in the club's future plans. The player has made 224 appearances and scored 9 goals since arriving from Sassuolo in the summer of 2021 in a deal worth €25 million, plus an additional €12.5 million in incentives.
The Italian international has earned the trust of all coaches who have managed Juventus, strengthening his leadership role within the dressing room. This extension aims to secure the continuity of one of the team's most important midfielders for many years to come.
