Italian club Juventus has announced that its Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic will be sidelined for a period ranging from three weeks to one month. This follows medical examinations that revealed a low-grade lesion in his calf muscle.

The confirmation came after tests conducted today at the club's medical center to ascertain the nature of the injury the player sustained yesterday during warm-ups, marking a new setback for the Italian team.

Juventus' medical report clarified that the examination results "showed a low-grade lesion in the soleus muscle," one of the sensitive muscles in the calf that requires a precise treatment program to avoid any future complications. The Serbian international will begin his recovery phase under the supervision of the specialized medical staff, aiming to reduce the absence period and return to official competitions after completing all necessary rehabilitation stages.

This muscle injury follows a previous lengthy absence of approximately four months due to another, more serious muscle injury. This presents additional challenges for the technical staff to compensate for his absence in upcoming matches.
