The latest UEFA report on the financial landscape of European clubs revealed that Serie A clubs recorded the lowest growth rate among the continent's major leagues, at just 1%.

These figures reflect a state of economic stagnation compared to direct competitors, as Ligue 1 clubs successfully surpassed their Italian counterparts in ticket and matchday revenues for the first time.

In a direct comparison, Ligue 1 clubs registered a 7% growth, with ticket revenues reaching 448 million euros, while Serie A revenues stalled at 442 million euros during the same period. The continental report further noted that 17 out of 20 clubs in the Italian competition have negative net capital, marking the worst financial performance in Europe, despite Serie A clubs' total revenues reaching approximately 2.9 billion euros.

Among the top 25 European clubs by revenue, Inter Milan ranked eleventh, followed by Juventus in fifteenth place, and AC Milan sixteenth. Meanwhile, top-tier clubs across the continent achieved operating profits for the first time in five years, amidst the continued financial dominance of the English Premier League, whose clubs recorded 7.5 billion euros – a figure nearly double that achieved by clubs in both the German Bundesliga and Spanish La Liga.
