Senegalese Federation Announces Two Friendly Matches for National Team
The Senegalese Football Federation has officially announced two friendly matches for the senior national team during the upcoming international break in March. This move comes as part of the Senegalese team's preparations for future competitions.
Senegal, the reigning Africa Cup of Nations 2025 champions, are scheduled to face Peru on March 28 at Stade de France in Saint-Denis. This match provides an opportunity for the team to play against an opponent from another continent.
In the same vein, the Senegalese national team will play another friendly against Gambia on March 31 at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Diamniadio. These two matches will be Senegal's first since winning the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 title.
The Senegalese team lifted the Africa Cup of Nations trophy for the second time in their history on January 19, following a 1-0 extra-time victory over Morocco in the final of the tournament held in Morocco.
