Sofyan Amrabat Undergoes Successful Surgery, Out for Weeks
Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat underwent successful surgery in Amsterdam, the Dutch capital, following his participation with the national team in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Amrabat announced the surgery by posting a photo of himself from the hospital on his official Instagram account, accompanied by the caption: “The beginning of a stronger chapter.”
The Real Betis player was forced to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle to treat an injury he sustained approximately two months ago after colliding with teammate Isco.
Amrabat is expected to be sidelined for a period ranging from four to six weeks, after which he will return to strengthen the ranks of his Spanish club, Real Betis.
