
Morocco National Team Concludes Preparations for Tanzania Clash in AFCON Round of 16
The Moroccan national team concluded its preparations this evening for the upcoming match against Tanzania in the Round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, hosted in Morocco.
The training session commenced at 5 PM at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora. Midfielder Soufyan Amrabat was absent from the session.
As per CAF regulations, the first fifteen minutes of the session were open to the media. Anas Salah Eddine, Yassine Bounou, and Noussair Mazraoui made press statements, expressing the squad's readiness and full concentration on continuing their journey in the tournament.
The Round of 16 match between Morocco and Tanzania is scheduled for tomorrow, starting at 5 PM, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat.
The Atlas Lions had topped Group A with seven points, secured from two wins and one draw. They defeated Comoros 2-0, drew with Mali, and then beat Zambia 3-0.
