Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, a player for Wydad AC, continues to offer his full support to the "Atlas Lions," stressing that their ambition for the Africa Cup of Nations title must be unequivocal. When asked about which team might be the surprise package of the AFCON edition hosted in the Kingdom of Morocco, Ziyech responded: "The team that will be the surprise of the Africa Cup? There should be no surprise. We must win it."
The Moroccan national team began their Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 2-0 victory over Comoros in their opening group stage match.
