Regragui Clarifies Remarks on Fans: 'When Players Are Sluggish, Fans Will Drive Them with Support'

National coach Walid Regragui has revisited his message to the fans who will attend the stadium to support the Moroccan national team during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations matches. Following Sunday evening's victory over Comoros, Regragui sought to clarify comments he made yesterday. He stated in the post-match press conference: "Anyone who has a ticket has the right to be present in the stadium."

He added: "What I want the fans to understand is that they must be with the players at every moment. For example, when the ball isn't going in, or the players are a bit sluggish, they need to push the players with encouragement, because this has an impact. Difficult matches await us, and in those moments, the fans are the ones who will secure victory for us. The fans must leave the stadium having lost their voices."
