CAF Awards Ceremony / Bubista Defies Expectations, Crowned Best Coach Over Wahbi and Regragui

Mohamed Wahbi, coach of the Moroccan U20 national team, was crowned Best Coach in Africa at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards ceremony.

Wahbi secured the award after leading the Moroccan national team to victory in the Youth World Cup held in Chile, a historic achievement marking the first global title for the nation's teams.

The list of nominees for the prestigious award also featured a Moroccan presence, with Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan senior national team, alongside Bubista, coach of Cape Verde.

The Kingdom of Morocco hosted this year's CAF Awards ceremony in the capital Rabat, specifically at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).
