CAF Awards: Maama, Ouzane, and Smith Nominated for African Young Player of the Year

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the shortlist for the African Young Player of the Year award for 2025.
Three players are competing for the prestigious award: Othmane Maama, a member of the Moroccan U20 national team and a Youth World Cup winner; Abdellah Ouzane, a Moroccan U17 national team player who won the U17 Africa Cup of Nations; and South African defender Taylon Smith.
The CAF Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in Rabat, the Moroccan capital, on Wednesday, November 19, at 7:00 PM (19:00 GMT+1).
