Tunisia U17 Player: "Morocco Wasn't Better Than Argentina, But Won the U20 World Cup with Fighting Spirit – That's What We Want to Show Too"
Ali Jaber, defender for the Tunisian U17 national team, affirmed his goal of winning the U17 World Cup title and replicating the achievement of the Moroccan U20 national team in the Youth World Cup.
Jaber stated in media remarks: "The Moroccan U20 national team did not have better players than Argentina, but they were crowned (U20 World Cup champions) because of their strong mentality and fighting spirit, and this is what we want to show in the U17 World Cup."
He continued: "We want to defeat Argentina and Belgium and win the World Cup title, thanks to our fighting spirit that our opponents do not possess. Playing in Italy is different from playing in Tunisia, but this does not mean that our team is not good; rather, we have players from various leagues, such as the Netherlands."
It is worth noting that the Tunisian national team began its campaign in the U17 World Cup with a resounding 6-0 victory over Fiji.
