Regragui: 'Belamri to Continue Training with Raja, Can Join Squad Anytime'

Walid Regragui, head coach of the Moroccan national team, clarified that he and his staff decided for Youssef Belamri to continue training with Raja Club Athletic, noting that the player could join the national squad at any time.

Speaking in a television interview after announcing his final squad for the Africa Cup of Nations, Regragui stated: "My staff and I chose for Youssef Belamri to remain with Raja Club Athletic, to continue his training with his team, and he is able to participate in matches."

The national coach added: "If we need his services, Belamri will be with us. He can join us at any time, as he is considered part of this group."

Regragui had announced the final squad list for the Africa Cup of Nations yesterday, Thursday. The tournament is scheduled to be hosted by the Kingdom between December 21 and January 18.
