National coach Walid Regragui affirmed that Brahim Diaz delivered his best performance for the Moroccan national team against Uganda, despite not scoring.

Speaking at the press conference following the national team's 4-0 victory over Uganda, Regragui stated: "Today, Diaz delivered his best performance with the national team, despite not scoring. In terms of strength and desire, he played very well with the ball, but efficiency was not on his side."

He continued: "If Diaz had been more clinical today, he would have finished the match with three goals. When I see him integrated with the players and running like that, this is the Brahim we want."

Regragui concluded: "I told Diaz at halftime: 'I don't care if you score today; the important thing is to be ready to score goals when the Africa Cup of Nations begins'."
