Regragui: Players' Celebration Against Bahrain Shows Desire to Make History

National coach Walid Regragui affirmed that the Moroccan national team players are motivated to win the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025," and this is evident through their "unity" on the field and in training camps.

Regragui held a press conference today, Friday, to announce the "Atlas Lions" squad for the current November training camp. When asked about his method for motivating players, he said: "To win a title like the Africa Cup of Nations, especially in your home country, you need team unity."

He added: "I believe we possess this quality. For example, against Bahrain, even though we scored a goal in the 90+3' minute, the players' joy among themselves on the field shows that they have a shared project: to make history. You must have national unity to win the title. We shouldn't just say we are positive and going to win the title; no, that's a mistake. There must be criticism, and that is logical and part of the profession."

It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team will face Mozambique (November 14) and Uganda (November 18) in two friendly matches during the last training camp before the Africa Cup of Nations kicks off next December.
