Over 60,000 Spectators Attend AFCON Opener Between Morocco and Comoros

The opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations between the Moroccan national team and their Comoros counterpart witnessed a massive crowd presence at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

The stadium stands were filled with over 60,000 spectators, which added a special character to the opening ceremony and the match atmosphere, in a scene reflecting the great passion for football among Moroccan fans.

The Moroccan national team began their Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a deserved two-nil victory over the Comoros national team in the match played between the two sides on Sunday, as part of the first round of the continental competition's group stage.
