Large Crowds Gather at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium for AFCON Opening

African football fans continue to arrive at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat to attend the opening ceremony of the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025" finals.

Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium opened its gates at 2:00 PM, four and a half hours before the start of the opening ceremony. This early opening was implemented to facilitate fan access and ensure their smooth entry under well-organized conditions.

Moroccan supporters also began flocking to Moulay Abdellah Stadium from the early hours of opening day. They gathered to witness the continental football spectacle's inauguration and to cheer on the national team in their match against Comoros.

The match between the Moroccan national team and Comoros is scheduled for today, Sunday, at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, kicking off at 8:00 PM (GMT+1). The opening ceremony is set to begin at 6:30 PM (18:30 GMT+1).
