Morocco Kicks Off Africa Cup Campaign with 2-0 Victory Over Comoros

The Moroccan national team began their Africa Cup of Nations journey with a 2-0 victory over Comoros in a match held at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
In the 11th minute, striker Soufiane Rahimi missed a penalty. The match also saw defender Romain Saïss forced off in the early minutes due to injury.
After the break, the "Atlas Lions" scored both their goals through Brahim Díaz in the 55th minute and Ayoub El Kaabi, who came on as a substitute, in the 74th minute.
The match was attended by Prince Moulay El Hassan, who officially inaugurated the Africa Cup of Nations amidst a large crowd estimated at over 60,000 spectators.
Morocco will face Mali in their second-round match next Friday, kicking off at 9:00 PM (GMT+1).
