Saibari: 'Fans Helped Us Against Comoros, Maybe They Listened to the Coach'
Ismail Saibari, a player for the Moroccan national team, spoke about the positive role played by the fans in their two-goal victory over Comoros in the first round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.
In press statements, Saibari said: "It was a difficult match. We played against a defensively organized team. Even in the qualifiers, they were among the first to qualify, and in many matches, we see that play continues until the second half, with the ball moving from right to left, and then chances come on their own."
He continued: "'The fans helped us in the match, and maybe they listened to the coach's words' in the last press conference before the game, and I hope they remain like this until the end of the tournament."
The Moroccan national team will face Mali next Friday, starting at 9:00 PM (21:00 GMT +1), as part of the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.
