De la Fuente: 'Yamal Has Exceptional Talent, Spanish Federation Did Everything to Convince Him to Play for La Roja'

Spain national team coach, Luis de la Fuente, believes that player Lamine Yamal "possesses exceptional talent," highlighting the reasons why the Spanish Football Federation was keen to convince him to represent "La Roja."

De la Fuente stated in remarks to the "DAZN" platform: "Lamine is an example of a well-rounded, educated, and respectful young man, and he possesses exceptional talent."

"From the very first moment, he shows the quality of player he is, one of those touched by that 'magic wand' to be special," added the Spain coach.

He concluded: "For this reason, the Spanish Football Federation did everything in its power to ensure his commitment to us, to include him in our ranks, and to convince him that playing for the Spanish national team is the best option."

It is worth noting that Lamine Yamal was the subject of a dispute between Morocco and Spain before the player made his decision in favor of "La Roja," thus confirming his desire to continue his football career under the colors of the Spanish national team.
