Pathé Ciss Rescues Rayo Vallecano from Defeat Against Levante with Stoppage-Time Goal

Rayo Vallecano and visitors Levante played to a 1-1 draw on March 16 in a match part of the 28th round of the Spanish La Liga. The game took place at the Estadio de Vallecas in Madrid.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 41st minute through Carlos Espe, who capitalized on a pass from Iker Losada Aragunde to give Levante the lead. The start of the second half also saw the participation of Moroccan player Ilias Akhomach Chakkour, who came on as a substitute in the 46th minute.

In the final minutes, the home side mounted a comeback to level the score. Pathé Ciss successfully netted the equalizer in the 90+4th minute from a ball set up by Florian Lejeune. This result increased Rayo Vallecano's tally to 32 points, placing them in thirteenth position, while Levante remained in nineteenth place with 23 points.
