Rayo Vallecano's Siss Admits Red Card Against Real Madrid Was Deserved

Rayo Vallecano's Senegalese midfielder Pathe Ciss took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account to acknowledge the validity of his red card during his team's match against Real Madrid, offering an apology to all those affected by his actions.

Ciss explained in his post that he was unsure about the legitimacy of the red card at the time he was leaving the pitch. He stated, "When I was asked as I was leaving the stadium whether it was a correct red card or not, I had doubts."

The midfielder added that he reviewed the incident immediately upon arriving home. "I have rewatched the replay now, and I admit it was a deserved red card," Ciss said. "I take this opportunity to apologize to everyone: my teammates, the fans, and also to Dani Ceballos."

Ceballos responded to Ciss's post, writing: "Nothing happened, my friend. These are things that happen in football."
