La Liga Postpones Rayo Vallecano vs. Real Oviedo Due to Poor Pitch and Facilities

The Spanish Football League (La Liga) has announced the postponement of the match between Rayo Vallecano and visiting side Real Oviedo to a later date, citing the poor condition of the pitch at the Vallecas stadium.

This decision was made just a few hours before the scheduled kick-off, prompting complaints from the visiting team, who expressed frustration over the postponement despite their squad and supporters having already traveled to the capital, Madrid.

Adding to the issues, Rayo Vallecano players had previously refused to train at the team's facilities before the match. Their protest was due to the poor state of the training ground and the reported absence of hot water in the changing rooms for several days.

Real Oviedo subsequently released an official statement criticizing the late postponement. The club asserted that they had incurred significant damages and are seriously considering demanding the match points, which would result in a 3-0 victory.
