Belamri Makes First Appearance in Al Ahly Squad for Ismaily Clash
Moroccan international Youssef Belamri has made his first appearance in Al Ahly's squad, ahead of their Egyptian Premier League clash against Ismaily.
Belamri joined Al Ahly during the recent winter transfer window from Raja Club Athletic on a three-and-a-half-season deal. He arrived in Cairo just 48 hours before Al Ahly's match against Tanzania's Young Africans but did not feature in that game. He subsequently missed matches against Wadi Degla, National Bank of Egypt, Young Africans in Tanzania, and JS Kabylie in the fourth and fifth rounds.
Al Ahly had previously issued an official statement confirming that Belamri's absence from previous matches was due to his need to achieve full physical readiness, prior to his inclusion in the squad for the upcoming fixture.
