Al Ahly's club doctor, Ahmed Gaballah, has revealed the nature of the injury sustained by Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet ahead of the Egyptian team's clash with AS FAR in the final round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Al Ahly issued a statement on its official accounts, stating: "Scans undergone by Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet revealed a grade one strain in the lower hamstring."
The statement added: "The player will begin his rehabilitation and physical therapy program starting this Monday, to prepare him for a return to competitive matches in the coming period."
