Trezeguet Thanks Moroccan Fans After AFCON Qualification

Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the Egyptian national team player, extended his gratitude to the Moroccan fans who attended their match against South Africa at the Grand Agadir Stadium during the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.

Trezeguet told Egyptian channel "On Sport": "We hope to always make the Egyptian people happy. South Africa is a very strong team, but we are the Egyptian national team. We fought until the last minute and secured the match points."

He added: "I thank the Moroccan people for their support for us." The Egyptian national team secured their qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 after defeating South Africa by a clean goal.
