Salah: 'Proud to Play in Morocco Amidst Egyptian and Moroccan Fans'

Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian national team player, expressed his immense pride in participating in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, praising the strong fan turnout against South Africa in the second round of the group stage.

Following their victory over South Africa and subsequent qualification for the round of 16, Salah stated in a televised interview: "It was a difficult match, and we had a good plan to overcome them. What mattered to us was securing the three points, even though the opponent dominated the game and was able to retain possession."

He added: "The stadium was almost full, and I am proud to play in Morocco, surrounded by both Egyptian and Moroccan fans. The atmosphere here is amazing, and we hope to progress further in the tournament."
