Malian FA Vice President Rallies Players Ahead of Morocco Clash: "Don't Be Afraid, We'll Reach Our Goals"

Moussa Sylvain Diakité, Vice President of the Malian Football Federation, expressed his full support for the national team players ahead of their match against Morocco in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.

Addressing the players during Mali's training session before facing Morocco, Diakité stated: "You have the support of the government through the Ministry of Sports, and full support from the Malian Football Federation." He added, "I know the result in the first match was not what we hoped for, but we were not defeated. You played your first game, and this experience gives you an opportunity to improve."

The Malian FA Vice President continued: "You are professionals, and I am not here to give lessons on how to play. I just want to remind you that you have all the potential, and we will achieve what we want."

He concluded: "Don't be afraid, take matters into your own hands and let's move forward. We are Malians, and we are proud of that."

The Moroccan national team will face Mali tomorrow, Friday, at 9:00 PM (GMT+1) at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
