Guardiola: "There are Many Conflicts in the World and Innocent People are Being Killed... I Condemn All of It and Did Not Say One Country is More Important Than Another"

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola defended his criticism of crimes committed against innocent people across the world, affirming that he will not remain silent on the matter until conflicts are resolved without loss of life.

Guardiola responded to a representative of Manchester's Jewish community, who had urged him not to speak about wars, stating: "Why can't I express what I feel? Just because I am a coach? I don't agree with you, but I respect all opinions."

He continued, clarifying: "What I said, in short, is: How many conflicts are there in the world? There are many. I condemn them all. Innocent people are being killed, and I condemn all of that. I did not say that one country is more important than another, and it's not a problem if my message was not understood."

The Spanish coach had previously expressed his anger over the killing of thousands of innocent people in wars and conflicts, citing the "genocide" in Palestine, and what is happening in Ukraine, Russia, Sudan, and other places, emphasizing that he does not side with any party and that his goal is to defend human life, regardless of circumstances.
