Striker Harry Kane scored both goals for Bayern Munich in the 52nd minute and the 55th minute (from a penalty kick). He also missed another penalty in the 81st minute. The match saw player Kim Min-jae sent off in the 63rd minute after receiving his second yellow card, meaning he will miss the next game. The match was also affected by over 9,000 empty seats in the South Stand of the Allianz Arena due to a sanction imposed by UEFA.
