Bayern Munich's 12-Minute Comeback Stuns Sporting in Champions League

German giants Bayern Munich turned the tables on their Portuguese visitors Sporting CP, securing a valuable 3-1 victory at the Allianz Arena in the sixth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Sporting had initially surprised the hosts, taking advantage of a defensive error that led to an own goal scored by Joshua Kimmich in the 54th minute. This early setback disrupted coach Vincent Kompany's plans, forcing him to reorganize his team's strategy.

Bayern then pressed intensely, quickly finding an equalizer through Serge Gnabry in the 65th minute. The team continued their attacking dominance, with Lennart Carl scoring the second goal after a superb individual effort in the 69th minute. Defender Jonathan Tah then added the third goal in the 77th minute, sealing the Bavarians' comeback in a dominant 12-minute spell.

Bayern Munich's victory increased their tally to 15 points, placing them second in the Champions League group standings, behind leaders Arsenal (15 points), who face hosts Club Brugge tomorrow, Wednesday (21:00 GMT+1). Sporting CP, meanwhile, sits in tenth place with 10 points.
