Bounou: "We Feel the Responsibility and Must Perform at a High Level to Give the Fans What They Deserve"

Morocco national team goalkeeper Yassine Bounou affirmed that the "Atlas Lions" players delivered a good performance against Mali in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage, despite the national team lacking some final touches during the match.

Following the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, Bounou stated: "The players put in a good game, and when you evaluate the match, we were missing something in the final touch. But, thank God, we must now focus on the last match, win it, and secure qualification."

Bounou also highlighted the importance of Moroccan fans' support, adding: "We always want to thank the fans who come to support us. We feel the responsibility, and we must perform at a high level to give them what they deserve."
