Regragui: Better for Winning Streak to End Now Than in Quarter-Finals
Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan national team, affirmed that it was better for the "Atlas Lions'" winning streak to end against Mali, rather than in advanced stages of the competition.
Speaking at the press conference following the 1-1 draw against Mali, Regragui stated: "It's better for the winning streak to end today, because this could have happened in the quarter-finals and we would have been eliminated."
He added: "Today we start from scratch, and we know exactly what we need to work on. We will also regain Achraf's services and continue to strengthen our team."
Regragui emphasized that the team would work on correcting the errors observed in today's match, focusing on better preparation for the upcoming game against Zambia.
