Egyptian Football Association Thanks Moroccan Fans for Support to Egypt National Team in AFCON 2025

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has extended its gratitude and appreciation to the Moroccan fans for their significant support of the Egyptian national team during its matches in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The EFA lauded the backing provided by the Moroccan supporters, considering this positive interaction a reflection of the deep fraternal and historical ties between the Egyptian and Moroccan peoples. The association also emphasized the high sportsmanship and Arab solidarity witnessed within African stadiums.

The football body affirmed its great pride in the warm reception and support the Egyptian team received, while simultaneously wishing the Kingdom of Morocco continued success, progress, and good fortune in organizing the Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

It is worth noting that the match between the Egyptian national team and its South African counterpart, played this Friday as part of the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage, recorded a large attendance of 48,219 spectators at the Grand Stade d'Agadir.
