Saintfiet (Mali Coach): "Morocco are the Favourites, but We Will Play with High Spirit to Show Our True Capabilities"

Tom Saintfiet, head coach of the Mali national team, affirmed that their upcoming match against Morocco in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage will be a tough test for his side, emphasizing that his players are ready to give their all.

During the press conference, Saintfiet stated, "This is our second match in the group, following an opening game that somewhat disappointed expectations due to a late goal against Zambia, and the pressure is now greater against Morocco."

The coach added that his team has studied every aspect of the Moroccan national team, from their main squad to the second team that participated in the Arab Cup and the Olympic Games, confirming the quality of their players and their defensive organization.

Saintfiet concluded, "We understand that Morocco are the overwhelming favourites, but we will play with high spirit and full concentration to show our true capabilities."
