Regragui: "Tomorrow We'll See If We Start With Rahimi, El Kaabi, or En-Nesyri; For Me, Danger Comes From Everywhere"
Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan national team, confirmed that the technical staff has not yet finalized the starting lineup for the match against Mali, which is part of the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage. He indicated that selections would be based on the tactical approach for the game.
Regragui stated during the press conference: "We still haven't determined the starting lineup, and that will become clear based on our tactical thinking. Will En-Nesyri start, or Rahimi, or El Kaabi?"
The national coach continued: "In our system of play, the striker is important for scoring, but they also do a great deal of work within the group. For me, danger comes from everywhere."
The Atlas Lions coach added: "We have the advantage that all players are capable of complementing the group's work and adding value. We don't have substitutes in the traditional sense; rather, everyone who comes in is required to provide added value."
Regragui concluded his statements by emphasizing that the Moroccan national team possesses players with diverse technical attributes, which provides the team with multiple solutions and constitutes one of its most significant strengths.
