Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has provided an update on the current fitness of Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi, confirming that the player is currently unavailable for matches and is still in the recovery phase from injury.

Speaking at the press conference ahead of his team's Intercontinental Cup final, Enrique cautiously addressed Hakimi's situation. He stated, "Hakimi is currently unable to play, and at this stage, he is only recovering," without offering further details on when the defender might return to competitive action.

The Spanish coach refrained from discussing the right-back's potential availability for upcoming fixtures, opting not to set a specific timeframe for his recovery. His statements clearly indicated a cautious approach regarding the development of Hakimi's physical condition.

Achraf Hakimi is currently with the Moroccan national team, which is preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Morocco from December 21 to January 18.
