
New Training Session: Morocco Continues AFCON Preparations
The Moroccan national team held a training session this Wednesday afternoon at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora. This session is part of their ongoing preparations for the opening match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The training session focused on enhancing team cohesion and developing tactical coordination. It was conducted under the supervision of the technical staff, led by national coach Walid Regragui, in an atmosphere of discipline and concentration, with most of the invited players participating.
Morocco has been drawn into Group A for the tournament, alongside Mali, Zambia, and Comoros. The Atlas Lions will kick off their campaign against Comoros on Sunday, December 21st, at 8 PM. They will then face Mali on Friday, December 26th, at 9 PM, before concluding their group stage fixtures against Zambia on Monday, December 29th, starting at 8 PM.
