CAF: Over One Million Tickets Sold for AFCON Morocco, Reflecting Record Demand

Veron Mosengo-Omba, Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), confirmed on Tuesday in Rabat that the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which Morocco will host from December 21 to January 18, 2026, is experiencing unprecedented public interest.

Mosengo-Omba made these remarks during a press conference where he highlighted Morocco's latest preparations to ensure the successful organization of the major continental event.

He stated: "No Africa Cup of Nations has ever witnessed such a high level of interest. The quality of the Africa Cup of Nations (Morocco 2025) is particularly evident in the sale of over one million tickets to date."

He added: "For me, all indicators point to this. We have never before held Africa Cup of Nations matches in nine stadiums. The popular demand for this competition is unparalleled."
