
Morocco B Secures $4.2 Million Prize Money After Reaching Arab Cup Final
The Moroccan national B team has secured a significant financial prize of $4.2 million after qualifying for the final round of the Arab Cup 'Qatar 2025'.
Morocco qualified for the final after defeating the UAE national team three goals to nil. Karim El Berkaoui opened the scoring for Morocco in the 28th minute, followed by Achraf El Mehdaoui in the 83rd minute, and Abderrazak Hamdallah sealed the victory in the first minute of stoppage time (90+1).
The champion of the Arab competition will receive $7.1 million, while the runner-up will be awarded $4.2 million. The team finishing in third place will be granted $2.8 million, with prize money for the remaining teams distributed according to their final standings in the tournament.
Morocco will face Jordan, led by coach Jamal Sellami, in the Arab Cup final on Thursday, at Lusail Stadium. The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 PM (GMT+1).
