Hamdallah Offers Condolences to Safi Flood Victims' Families, States: "All Players Felt Sad Before UAE Match"
Abderrazak Hamdallah, a player for the Moroccan national reserve team, expressed his sorrow over the tragedy that struck the city of Safi due to floods, affirming that all players shared the same feelings before facing the UAE in the Arab Cup semi-finals.
Hamdallah told the media: "Our condolences are with the people of Safi. All the players were sad before this match because our brothers lost their lives, but thank God, this is God's will and destiny. We ask God for patience and solace for our families."
Regarding the match, he added: "It was difficult; we faced a team considered among the strongest in this tournament, but we managed to win, thank God."
Concerning winning the title, Hamdallah affirmed: "This is the dream of all players, and God willing, we will strive to achieve the title."
