Al-Fateh Saudi Club Targets Abderrazak Hamdallah for Winter Window
Reports indicate that Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah, Al-Shabab club's player, has become a target for one of the Saudi Pro League clubs looking to sign him during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper confirmed that Al-Fateh Club is seriously considering the possibility of signing Hamdallah to compensate for anticipated absences in their attacking line.
The club's management is reportedly concerned about the potential call-up of the Moroccan player to represent his national team in the Africa Cup of Nations, which could deprive the team of his services during a crucial period of the season.
The same source added that the option of signing Hamdallah on a loan deal remains on the table, especially given the club's limited financial liquidity, making a loan a suitable solution compared to more expensive permanent transfers.
Al-Fateh currently has five key African players: Moroccans Marwane Saadane and Mourad Batna, Algerian Sofiane Bendebka, and Comorian Zaïdou Youssouf. All are likely to join their respective national teams for the Arab Cup and then the Africa Cup of Nations, which could leave the team with significant absences for several weeks. Additionally, there is a possibility that Cameroonian Karl Toko Ekambi might also join his national team.
