Ammouta Predicts Morocco to Win Arab Cup Against Egypt
Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta has expressed optimism regarding the chances of the Moroccan B national team winning the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar.
In an interview with Qatar's Al Kass channel during the "My Predictions" segment, Ammouta stated, "I expect a final between Morocco and Egypt, and I believe the Moroccan team will be crowned champions."
He added, "This is a choice with an emotional aspect, but it is also based on logic, as Moroccan football is experiencing a golden era, and there is a strong group of players."
Ammouta further noted that the B team players possess great ambition to perform exceptionally well to secure professional contracts outside Morocco, which provides them with additional motivation to deliver high-level performances in the tournament.
The B national team, led by coach Tarik Sektioui, will compete in Group B alongside Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Comoros. Their first match will be against Comoros on December 2.
The FIFA Arab Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar from December 1 to 18.
