Zohran Mamdani, a New York State Assembly member, recalled names from a previous Arsenal generation, including former Moroccan international Marouane Chamakh, during his appearance on "The Adam Friedland Show" podcast.
Mamdani stated, "When I wake up every morning, I think of Sébastien Squillaci, Pascal Cygan, and Marouane Chamakh."
Earlier media reports indicated that Mamdani is known for his great affection for English club Arsenal, which is considered rare in the United States, given his significant interest in European football.
