Tunisian Journalist Hosni Praises Moroccan Sports Facilities: "We wanted to be like Europe, today Europe wants to be like Morocco"
Tunisian journalist Khaled Hosni expressed his profound admiration for the sports development and infrastructure that now characterize the Kingdom of Morocco. His remarks came during his attendance at the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony, hosted by the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat.
Speaking to Tunisian radio station "Diwan," Hosni stated: "I received an invitation from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation to attend the ceremony, which provided an opportunity to meet prominent football personalities such as Samuel Eto'o, the FIFA President, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and CAF President Patrice Motsepe."
He added: "What I witnessed at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium and within the facilities of the Mohammed VI University, including dedicated hotels for national teams and training complexes, was exceptional. This is the fruit of immense effort."
Hosni concluded his remarks by saying: "Everyone should witness what Morocco has achieved. We once aspired to be like Europe, and today, Europe itself is saying: 'We wish to become like Morocco.'"
