Wydad Holds First Training Session in Zanzibar Ahead of Azam Confederation Cup Clash

Wydad AC has commenced its preparations in Zanzibar for the anticipated clash against Azam, as part of the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.

The Red Castle held its first training session this evening, which coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem dedicated to recovery after the long journey undertaken by the Wydad delegation from Casablanca to Zanzibar, via the United Arab Emirates.

The Red Castle is expected to conduct a second training session tomorrow, Thursday, which will focus on technical explanations and the final tactical touches from the coaching staff before the match.

Wydad will be hosted by Azam the day after tomorrow, Friday, at 5:00 PM (GMT+1). It is worth noting that they secured a clean 3-0 victory against Kenya's Nairobi in the first round.
