Wydad Delegation Prepares for Zanzibar Trip Ahead of Azam Clash in CAF Confederation Cup

The Wydad Sports Club delegation is preparing to travel to Zanzibar for their CAF Confederation Cup group stage Matchday 2 encounter against Tanzanian club Azam FC. The journey is expected to last approximately 20 hours.

The Wydad delegation arrived at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, from where they are scheduled to depart at 3:10 PM local time. Their flight is expected to land at Dubai Airport in the UAE around 1:40 AM, after an approximate seven-and-a-half-hour journey.

The "Red Team" delegation will have a stopover of approximately eight and a half hours before resuming their journey to Zanzibar. The flight from Dubai to Zanzibar is anticipated to take about five and a half hours, with Wydad expected to arrive in Tanzania on Wednesday around 2:10 PM.

Meanwhile, national coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem has scheduled two training sessions in Tanzania for Wednesday and Thursday, in preparation for the Azam FC match next Friday, which is set to kick off at 5:00 PM.
