Wydad AC coach Amin Benhachem expressed his satisfaction following his team's dominant 3-0 victory over Kenya's Nairobi United in the opening match of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Benhachem stated, "We have set a program for Tuesday dedicated to rest and travel. Upon our arrival on Wednesday, we will conduct an evening session for recovery, and Thursday's session will focus on working on specific tactical details."
He continued, "When you undergo strong preparation at the start of the season, instead of regaining freshness in just a few days, it takes about a week."
He concluded, "Thankfully, we left the match without any injuries. Players we rested, such as Aboulfath, who felt a slight knock, will return for the upcoming game."
