Mbappe Congratulates Friend Hakimi: "I Love You Brother, You Are the King of Africa"

French star Kylian Mbappe celebrated his friend Achraf Hakimi's triumph, winning the African Ballon d'Or 2025 award, which he received on Wednesday evening at a ceremony hosted by Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The French star posted a picture of Hakimi alongside the Golden Ball and commented on it via his Instagram account: "I love you brother. King of Africa. Well done my brother, it's a more than deserved award."

Mbappe and Hakimi share a strong friendship, having played together at Paris Saint-Germain for three seasons.
