Morocco asserted its dominance at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards ceremony, held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

The Moroccan sweep began with Douha El Madani securing the Best Young African Player award for the second consecutive time. This was followed by Othmane Maamma winning the Best Young Player award, having led Morocco to their world title in the U20 category.

The Moroccan youth national team was recognized as the Best Team on the continent after their World Cup triumph. Furthermore, Yassine Bounou once again claimed the Best Goalkeeper in Africa award, acknowledging his consistent excellence in his role.

Ghizlane Chebbak further extended Morocco's dominance by being crowned the Best Player in Africa. This recognition came after her outstanding performance in the recent Africa Cup of Nations and her inclusion in the FIFPRO World XI.

Achraf Hakimi concluded the evening by securing the prestigious Best African Player award, placing the "cherry on top" of Morocco's successful night. His triumph ended a 27-year wait for Morocco, with the last player to win the accolade being Mustapha Hadji in 1998.
