Uganda Coach Paul Put: Morocco's Infrastructure Unrivalled; Players May Not Get This Opportunity Again
Belgian coach Paul Put, manager of the Uganda national team, praised the strength of the Moroccan national team following their four-goal defeat to the 'Atlas Lions,' while also expressing his admiration for the level of infrastructure and organization in the Kingdom.
Speaking to the press after the match, Put stated: “Morocco is a very strong team, possessing maturity and experience. We didn't have players capable of retaining possession, so the match was difficult for us, but at least things are improving.”
He continued: “I want to thank the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, as they hosted us wonderfully. I have participated in four training camps, and now this is the fifth, and you can feel that Morocco, in terms of infrastructure and organization, is the strongest.”
Put concluded: “I also told the players this, because this opportunity might not come again for them. Honestly, everything was perfect, and I can congratulate them on the level of organization. Thank you.”
